Hurley James

He came! When I was posting about the Dr. appt. I was actually having contractions. I was afraid to GINX it so I didn't mention that part. So... The DL on the whole action since I know everyone will ask. My Dr. appt. was at 9 and as I stated in the last post, she stripped my membranes for the 3rd time. Well, it was a charm because by 10 I was contracting. I had contractions all day long and about 7 they started becoming stronger and a little more regular. Then about 9:30 they were pretty much 5 min. apart, but I didn't feel like I should go to the hospital yet. So we went to bed, me obviously not sleeping, just laying and timing contractions, and Tyson trying to sleep because he ate too much chinese food too late and was sick! He did get a little rest, but not too much, it took all I had to stay till midnight and decided it was time to go. So we called our friend Jana, who has been the most awesome Hunter babysitter, and she came to stay at our house with Hunter while we went to the hospital.
So, here is a little of how the night went....
12:35 am. get hooked up and checked. 3-4cm
1:35 am 4-5 cm. drugs approved!
2:49 am. get IV
3:00 am 6-7 cm
3:06 am. STADOL! YAHOO!! FEELING GREAT! I LOVE DRUGS!
4:50 am break water 8cm
lots of messy things happen in this time! and get another drug. fentanyl?
5:45 am epidural.
7:25 complete. PUSH TIME!
had to wait to push cause Dr. had a c-section. SUCKY! epidural didn't fully work and HOLY CRAP! could not feel the contractions, but the urge to push was UNREAL! I didn't experience that last time, and I am ok if I never do again! So, all in all, it was pretty darn good. Lots faster than last time! We love him tons and are so excited to be a family of 4!

OVERDUE!

Well people, here we are... LATE! Somewhat of a surprise, but somewhat not. However, I see a light at the end of the tunnel, finally! Not that it is a good one, but at least there is one! If we don't have a baby by the weekend we are inducing on Monday. Not real excited, since I would MUCH rather go on my own, but I guess if I don't have an option anymore, we will take it. And look at me... ITS TIME! I don't think my belly can poke out much farther! And our poor little family has had it. Lets face it, the hormones in the house of a 9 month pregnant lady, and a sexually deprived marriage... need I say more?! So, next post, LET THERE BE BABY!!!
oh. I guess the Dr. appt.. update would be nice... I am 70% thinned and 3 cm. And she stripped my membranes... AGAIN! 3rd times a charm right?

39 weeks!

Not the best visit today. I guess not bad, but for sure not at all what I was expecting, or hoping for that matter. Even after 2 nights of having contractions, losing my mucus plug, and just simply feeling like there was progression.... NONE!!! So, here we go again. Stripped my membranes and honestly... I have a PRETTY GOOD FEELING that sadly I will be going to my next appointment! Which at that point I will be overdue... AGAIN! So much for having the baby and being home before Tyson starts his class! Just my luck. I guess my uterus is just nice and comfy! My babies just don't want out! However, I did get the H1N1 vaccine, so I guess that was the good part about the appt.. So at least when he does come he will be vaccinated! And I pre-registered finally. I kept forgetting about it. I just have lost ALL ambition to do anything anymore. I have done almost every project in my house that I possibly can, and I am so ready for little brother to be here! So now we play the waiting game...AGAIN!
*sorry no pic. I don't look any different, so just look at the last one!
